upgradedLIFE is a creative collective committed to improving the quality of life of others by sharing information to inspire everyone to live an upgraded life.
Our blog serves as an online guide to the good life...people, places or things that can upgrade your life.
We are a team of young adults that are from various ethnic backgrounds who work together and we hope to inspire others to make an immediate impact. We consider Los Angeles our actual home and travel all over the world, but we also live online to find information that can add more value to your life.
upgradedLIFE hopes to create informative events that share personal stories to inspire and motivate the audience towards success and positive thinking despite the challenging state of our economy. We founded the social networking series "UP & COMING UNDER 35" LOS ANGELES...YOUNG EXECUTIVES MAKING MAJOR MOVES. UpgradedLife has produced a 2009 summer long series of social networking events in the greater Los Angeles area to bring together young industry professionals and people who want to meet them to improve their network or perhaps land a job. We believe in reality social networking-- we value the traditional way of meeting new people in person and building actual relationships and then maintaining them electronically after. We have chosen locations that we believe people will not only feel comfortable in but also feel like they are upgrading their dining and bar experience.
In September 2009, we hosted our UP & COMING UNDER 35 summer series finale event. Our panel discussion entitled "SPEED DIAL" comprised of some of Los Angeles' most intriguing industry professionals who are 35 years and younger succeeded in enlightening the audience with their personal and professional experiences and panelists made themselves available to network with everyone.
A portion of the proceeds from tickets sales from all of our events and $1 from each product sold from our signature online store will be re-invested through Kiva.org to empower entrepreneurs in other countries to lift them out of poverty through our upgradedLIFE LENDING TEAM. Our Kiva.org lending team is open to everyone and we encourage others to join us to help others who are building their businesses and pursuing their dreams and careers.
We believe everyone can upgrade their life...and it starts with us. We believe in the concept of "paying it forward" and through upgradedLIFE, we hope to do our part to practice it.
